Overview

Welcome to the Olive Tree Alliance website! We believe that an educated understanding of the Bible and history not only motivates, but enables Christians to stand in solidarity with Israel and Jewish people wherever they choose to reside.

We describe our teaching as Biblically Authentic because we consistently recognize the normal meaning of words within the historical and cultural context of Scripture, without allegorical manipulation.

In Standing with Israel, we help Christians combat anti-Semitism, debunk misinformation about Israel and work in solidarity with the Jewish people.

OUR HISTORY

Olive Tree Alliance is a new organization with a history more than a decade old. Originally, the ministry was an organic outgrowth encouraged by the leadership of a local church with a reputation of support for Israel and the Jewish people. Activities ranged from teaching the Jewish roots of Christianity to demonstrating solidarity with the Jewish community and standing against anti-Semitism.

On April 29, 2018, Charles and Moni McCracken were commissioned to lead the endeavor with a mandate to expand beyond local parameters. Olive Tree Alliance was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, shortly thereafter.

The McCrackens are well equipped to lead Olive Tree Alliance. They teach about the centrality of Israel in the Bible and counter the distorted narrative of Replacement Theology. Charles and Moni have a heart for Israel and a reputation for advancing respect, friendship and solidarity with the Jewish community.

Rev. McCracken is known for authenticity in communicating biblical truth that makes his presentations relevant for those seeking to understand the significance of Israel and the church in Bible prophecy. With a background in education and the arts, Moni provides creative oversight of media related projects and works with children’s and women’s groups. The McCrackens staunchly support the nation of Israel and the Jewish people’s right to exist and live in peace.

OUR FOCUS

Olive Tree Alliance focuses on the Word of God as it relates to the nation of Israel, and for good reason. Israel is at the heart of the Bible both historically and prophetically. While other ancient kingdoms are buried in the sands of time, Israel is very much alive today. Israel is at the epicenter of God’s unfolding plan for history. And, Israel has a glorious future!

The rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948 was one of the most miraculous and momentous events in the history of mankind. Although much of the world seemed to be taken by surprise, some individuals not only expected, but eagerly anticipated the prophesied restoration of Israel.

Even as Ben Gurion read the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel, the only people outside the Jewish community who believed it could actually happen were Bible-believing Christians with an understanding of the prophetic Scriptures. They took seriously the fact that every Old Testament prophetic book—with the exception of Jonah—and many of the psalms predict Israel’s return to their ancient homeland at the End of the Age.

Here’s one example:

“Thus says the Lord God: When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob.’” (Ezek. 28:25).

Israel at Night.

Israel at Night.

The prophesies of Ezekiel—as corroborated by the rest of the prophetic books of the Bible—confirm one immutable fact. God’s plan always included returning the Jewish people to their ancient homeland.

For two millennia, the Jewish people were scattered across the globe. It was no coincidence, however, that in the late 1800s a Zionist vision began to blossom in the Jewish community through men like Leon Pinsker, Rabbi Hirsch Kalisher and Theodore Herzl, the father of Zionism.

Nor was it a coincidence that simultaneously at the turn of the 20th century, Bible-believing Christians began recognizing and acting upon the centrality of Israel in God’s purposes. Christian Zionists in Great Britain like Lord Anthony Ashley Cooper, Earl of Shaftsbury, Lord James Balfour and Prime Minister David Lloyd-George were instrumental in creating interest in re-establishing the Jewish people in their God-given homeland. They were men who held a deep reverence and love for the Bible who believed that prophesies about Israel’s return to the land would literally be fulfilled.

Ezekiel prophesied that God would be hallowed—revered, honored and praised—in the eyes of the Gentiles when they saw God’s Chosen People beginning to return to their ancestral homeland (v.25). Recognizing God’s faithfulness in bringing His Chosen People back to their land, Gentiles with a reverence for God’s Word acted to prepare the way for the rebirth of the nation of Israel, just as Ezekiel prophesied.

Some within the broader faith community are spiritually desensitized to the progression of God’s prophetic purposes and have turned away from Israel, God’s Chosen People and the veracity of the Bible.

In my experience, however, biblically authentic Christians—who recognize the miracle of Israel’s rebirth as a fulfillment of the prophetic Word—respond in faith by standing in solidarity with the State of Israel and God’s Chosen People. A solid grasp of God’s Word leaves no other choice but to fulfill our obligation to bless the Jewish people (Rm. 15:27).

The Word of God and a love for Israel truly do go hand-in-hand. Thank you for visiting. Please return to the OTA website often to be encouraged by the Word of God and equipped to stand with God’s Chosen People.
